Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! Cabin and Christmas pics to come, but here’s a snapshot of the last week.
Ronan turned his room into a giant dance party, complete with a black light, automatic bubble machine, lava lamp and various strobe lights, all activated by the touch of one button on his remote.
A dance party to “prepare” for the big one on New Year’s Eve. Austin is always up for a party!
In an effort to find fun ways to move our bodies, we spent a lot of time at parks over the break. Ronan has re-discovered a love for parks— swinging, climbing and monkeying around.
An added bonus was bringing a friend and Nugget to the park yesterday afternoon. With the zip-line handle too tall to reach, Ronan designed a way to return the zipline to kids at the park using Nugget’s retractable leash. I love how his brain works to conceptualize and solve problems.
Austin has been enjoying a good amount of Dada time lately.
The two went on a date to see the “Lion King” in San Francisco. I just found this note on the whiteboard at the Sky Palace. What a sweet soul.
A few months ago Austin was prolific in her drawings of Pokemon. Knowing this, a friend told us about a Pokemon art show happening in San Francisco and Gentry helped Austin put together an application for the show. I love this photo that Gentry worked on with Austin. His art became clear to me as I watched him capture her spirit and her art.
To finish it off, a beautiful, early morning walk with Nugget, just down the street from Byrne Park Lane.
