Center Stage
Last week, we visited the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco and stumbled upon the upstairs music studio. Austin was a little shy, but ever so eager to have her debut performance on stage. Here she is singing “Let it go-“
Ronan and I were so proud of her that we kept exchanging smiles and giggles from the sidelines. I have no picture to follow, but Ronan mustered up the bravery to give it a go at the microphone too. And Austin and I got to share those fun moments of feeling pride for Ronan.
It was one of those “peak” experiences for Austin– a dream of sorts that she couldn’t quite believe she could live out! And for Ronan, I could sense more of his pride in finding the courage to do something that felt scary.
We brought home a free CD of their performances, and of course, the kids grabbed Grandma Carol and Seth right away to show off their recordings.
And here they are the next morning, bundled in bed, singing more and more Frozen songs…
