Spot a Ronan in there?
Ronan has been very busy at school working with his band to design and build this railway-sail system for an upcoming journey in Davenport. He is so proud of what his team has accomplished! More pics to come from the “epic” day they had yesterday on the railroad tracks.
He’s also been enjoying showing others how to play chess. He loves being in the teaching role, encouraging and supporting new learners, and he’s so lucky to have an eager student in his sister.
Austin has been hard at work on plans for her birthday party. She spent hours crafting the picture for her invitation below. She’s planning to watch “Glitter Force” and then put on a play, acting out the episode in full detail. She’s been writing the script, a prop and costume list, and is learning how to work with a budget. Having a limited amount of money to use, I’ve enjoyed watching her make choices around spending and what’s most important to her.
This weekend Austin went to her first real sleepover party for her favorite school friend. You cannot imagine how excited she was for the party! She eagerly packed her bags, kept finding treasures in her room and wrapping them as gifts, and counting down the minutes. The morning of the party she let me know that this was “a big deal” for her and away she went with big smiles and anticipation. Such fun to watch her delight in her friend’s company and hit these exciting first-time milestones!
