Gentry and I are enjoying watching Austin’s creativity emerge. She moves into her own spaces, shuts the door and surprises us all with her creations.
Below is a picture named “desert” that reminded us of Grandee’s style and color palette.
Our front studio has been affectionately named “Grandee’s room.” Something about the spirit, warmth and beauty of the room reminds us all of her. It somehow feels fitting that Austin has set up her art supplies and paints regularly in the space. She’ll disappear for hours into this quiet room and create painting after painting.
