Thanksgiving

We’re just returning from a trip to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving- our first big family road trip! The Da Rosas invited us for turkey day and kindly hosted us all in their home. Grandee and Pops joined the party too, which made for a warm and wonderful reunion. Cousins enjoying Thanksgiving lunch at the kids table:

And Austin. She began a love affair with a baby Teacup Pomeranian named Proton. She would have been perfectly content spending the rest of the day laying on the garage floor by Proton’s cage, just watching and petting. (By the way, love the tail coming out of Austin’s pants).

A good bye hug for Proton. We are continuing to hear stories of how cute Proton is, how he is the best and sweetest dog ever and how much Proton is missed! Austin is a true animal lover and it is fun to watch her grow such strong bonds with the animals around her.
