Oakland Zoo

Yesterday, we ventured to the Oakland Zoo to meet one of my good friends from Nashville and her son. We started at the flamingo exhibit. Ronan, poised with the map, trying to figure out which way the alligators and camels were.

The “African Safari” was really amazing to me. I haven’t seen giraffes and elephants since I was a little girl and they were so impressively large.
