Packages

(My apologies in advance for the quality of the photos.  It’s more the story I’m trying to captureā€¦)

Ronan and Austin enjoyed round two of package making.  We accompanied my mom to an event on Sunday morning to put together kits for those displaced by the earthquake in Haiti.  Austin loved decorating the cards for the kits with stickers and pen markings and Ronan’s favorite part was moving down the assembly line, putting each bottle of shampoo and bandaid in the kit.  I have to agree with the kid– it’s pretty satisfying to efficiently combine all of the products into one pouch.

Both kids really enjoy the process of putting together these packages.  Ronan’s next choice is to make gifts for the “people living in the one big home” (nursing home).  If you have any other ideas for package recipients, let your ideas be known as we’re searching for new projects!
