Happy Hollow

On Friday, we made a trip out to Happy Hollow. Heath and Seth joined us and we had a really fun morning exploring the park and the farm. The Carousel was the first ride of the day and an instant hit for Ronan and Austin.
We ventured to the farm and all three children enjoyed playing with the goats. I couldn’t pump out handfuls of goat feed fast enough for these guys!
I think that Seth, in particular, got a kick out of the animals!
Onto the cars. Ring, ring, ring, ring, Banaphone…

I don’t have a picture of THE roller coaster, but bravely, Ronan decided he wanted to try it out. He gave it a go and seemed to be having a great time being “allowed” to scream, but after the ride was over, he was sure to communicate that he didn’t want to go on the roller coaster ever again. Austin, on the other hand, asks about the roller coaster several times a day. “When I bigger?” she asks. “Austin ride roller coaster?” She seems genuinely delighted that she’ll get a turn someday and is already practicing her screams.
And to bring closure to the morning, another ride on the Carousel. We could have stayed all day!
