Ro sandwiches

When are magna-tiles not magna-tiles? When they’re placed in the hands of Chef Ronan and turned into “Ro Sandwiches”.

A few days ago Ronan decided to don a chef’s hat and start dishing out homemade sandwiches to everyone in sight, whether they wanted them or not. That might have had something to do with how many he had made.

Creative play is nothing new around our house, but what made this day’s inventiveness particularly interesting to me was the names for the sandwiches that Ronan came up with. Consider, if you will, the following delicacies:

– Purple Penguin Paste
– Sticky Chrandlebum (don’t ask – I don’t have the faintest idea) – Dark Chrandlebum Eyeball (apparently whatever it is, it’s a versatile ingredient)
– Green Salami – Orange Cone of Ice Cream

I can’t attest to any memorable tastes from this batch of sandwiches, but we continue to be wowed by the working’s of Ronan’s mind. He is one verbal kid.
