Sky High

We set out for the mountains a few weekends ago. I get happy just thinking about it– the chance to slow down, breathe in fresh air, sleep deeply and be together outside. (Don’t get me wrong– it is hard work traveling with two little people, but definitely worth it).Ronan has a natural love for rock climbing out in the forest. He was thrilled to find a black lizard with a blue belly on this rock and spent a long while chasing him around and around.

The warm days meant lots of time outdoors by the lake. Nothing cools you down like freshly melted snow.

Our last night in the mountains, Gentry and Ro built a campfire.

And with great anticipation and excitement, Austin tried her first smore.

I think she liked it:)
