Fall?

We’ve spent the last few days of hot weather cooling down with the hose in the backyard. Who would guess that Fall is upon us? Ronan has rediscovered the annual bounty of acorns behind our house and has been hard at work making piles of his favorites to share with the squirrels and birds. We’ve already spent many hours hunting for and classifying different colors and sizes and shapes of acorns. I think I know where we’ll be spending the next few months:)

While Ro is up to his projects, Baby Austin is refining her newest skill– sitting. She loves being at the table with us while we eat, chat and sing and contributes her own laughs and squawks. Little Birdie continues to win us over with her sweet smile and ever peaceful presence.
