Happy Trails

Ronan and I went on a “hike” this past week at Arastradero Preserve– one of my favorite outdoor spots. Here are some action shots from the trail:
“Hmm. North or South?”
Ronan loved playing with the twigs, rocks, flowers and grasses.
His favorite activity- by far- was spotting the snake holes. He was fascinated by their little “houses” and would stop and point at every snake hole along the path and utter his characteristically excited grunt.
I’m starting to wonder if all kids like rocks as much as Ronan or if we have a budding geologist or builder on our hands.

Ohmygosh, Michelle….he is adorable.
Your mom sent these along to me (of course!) and I’m amazed at how he’s grown!
Yikes! What fun…I’m so happy you are getting him into the outdoors!! Pretty soon he’ll be a real hiker! I hope to stop by your folks’ house some Monday (I think)when Nancy is Ronan-sitting.
