Cousin Love

Ronan and I ventured to Southern California last weekend to visit Aunt Anne, Uncle Jorge and Cousin Hudson.  They were all gracious hosts and Hudson, in particular, shared his toys best.

Ronan loved having a friend to play with.  In fact, he was so entertained all weekend long that he refused to nap.  I’d find him in his crib, jumping up and down, ready for more action.  At one point in the weekend, Anne took Hudson away for a few minutes and Ronan sat outside of his door waiting for his partner in crime.

We both had a great weekend and were sad to go.  An unexpected bonus for Ronan, however, was the airport wait on the way home.  He stood with his nose pressed to the glass for literally an hour, making the signs for cars and airplanes and bouncing up and down in excitement when the plans took off.  Being with Ronan as he experiences life is truly a thing of wonder.
