The Busy Helper
Ronan loves to do the laundry.
When I am filling the washer with dirty clothes, he often helps by bringing random pieces of plastic and toilet paper to add to the load. And when I am unloading clean clothes from the washer, he helps by removing each shirt or pair of pants, and dropping them onto the floor. Like so:
In order to make sure he has found every last article of clothing, Ro often tries to climb into the washer for a final check.
Thinking his captivation with the washing machine would be the perfect distraction, I rush to change his diaper. (Yes, I do this while he stands up as the alternative is an ugly battle). Once naked, he darts for the stairs.
On tiptoes, he happily looks for cars passing by. Vroom, vroom.
Life is very simple and very good.

That reminds me of this one time, my older, and clearly wiser, Big brother decided the dryer was the perfect place for ME to hide during hide-and-go-seek. Needless to say we got in a lot of trouble when I told my Dad what a great game of hide-and-seek we’d had early that day!

Hey Mica! I love this entry…I feel like I’m right there with you. That naked stair shot is hilarious. What is he thinking while you are snapping all of these pictures? Is he trying to pose or does he just do his own thing? Hope all is well. Love,

love it. LOVE it. soooo cute. so he just darts for the stairs once naked? hilarious! miss you guys! we’ll be in town in a couple weeks and would love to see you.
