The Big Island!

Earlier this month we set off on a family trip to Hawaii. We asked the kids to pack lightly for the adventure and were impressed by their results…
First stop= What’s shakin.” An old time smoothie bar favorite. It was fun to introduce the kids to places Gentry and I have known so well over the years.
Austin used her money to buy a ukulele!
We explored the Hilo side, stopping in Kaumana Caves for a hike. Ronan, in particular, loved being the “pioneer,” guiding us through the dark lava tube.

Austin really enjoyed meeting new friends on the island. We’re fortunate to have two wonderful friends on the Big Island with their own families. Plenty of playmates for Ms. social!
