Pathways Race!

This morning we headed out back to watch the runners of the Los Altos Hills Pathway Race head down the trail. Austin and Ronan decided to pick wildflowers to throw at their feet while they ran by.
There was a steady cheer of “go, go, go!”as each runner came down the trail. Ronan and Austin came up with this original cheer:) Lots of smiles and thank yous from the runners, glad to have a surprise encouragement toward the end of the race.
I enjoyed the beauty of the morning— the hills and the now golden grass.
And just the fact that so much is here-, right out our back door, to do, to watch, to notice.
