Carmel Valley

A few weekends ago we headed to Carmel Valley to celebrate Baba’s birthday.  Ronan, of course, had prepared a special present for the big day, and here he is, enraptured, as Baba unwraps it.  

All of the Stevens’ kiddos and their partners joined for the weekend and we spent a good amount of time together, in the peaceful and sunny setting of Carmel Valley.

Our little ones spent ample time at the pool.  The pool turned out to be a centerpiece of their days and it was wonderful for us to just lay low at the house and have an activity that both excites and tires the kids out!

Austin spent every minute that she could with Buddy.  Wow does she love that dog!  Now that we are away from him, she asks repeatedly to FaceTime Luba in order to say hello to Buddy.

And with Baba too.  You can see the patience on his face as he reads the Panda book, probably for the millionth time.  We were glad to have the chance to celebrate him for once, as he is always giving, giving, giving to us and our family.
