Celebrate

After four grueling years of residency, Lisa has emerged on the other side as a free woman!  Naturally, it was an occasion to celebrate…

Heath and Lisa and the extended network of Grandparents put together a wonderful party at Guinda, and it was so fun to hang out in the yard, talk with friends and reflect on the enormity of the feat that Lisa has accomplished.

The kids were thrilled to stay up late for a movie and popcorn party.  Austin became fast friends with Cambell (seated next to her) and proceeded to ask, probably one hundred times over the next few days, when she was going to have a sleepover at Cambell’s house.  Austin loves older girls and gets pretty focused on what she wants when she wants it!  

A fun night, for sure.  My hat is off to Lisa– not only that she finished residency, but the way in which she carried herself throughout the long years– with a steadfast positivity that set an example to us all.
