Swimmers

We just finished up with summer swim lessons and it was amazing to see the kids make so much progress. Ronan learned the early stages of butterfly, backstroke and started to get the hang of turning his head sideways for air during freestyle. He seemed to enjoy chatting with the other kiddos and playing underwater games with one little girl in his class.

Austin was thrilled to finally have her own chance in the pool and was so proud that she could do the monkey walk, jump into the water and touch the bottom of the pool.

Teacher Louise always amazes me with her patience, her kindness and the way she calmly keeps the class in order. For me, it was a fun two weeks of getting to hang out with my some of my friends poolside and watch the little people happily and proudly master new skills.
