Preparations

It would be an understatement to say that Austin wavered on her costume choice for Halloween this year.  Every few hours she invented a new idea that she was sure was the one– ranging from “greeter,” to astronaut to an orange and so on, only to change her mind just a little later.  One night, when Gentry was reading to her, they came across this picture in a favorite book, “Toot and Puddle.”  Austin wanted to wear the mask and be “horrifying” just like the pig.  

Halloween morning, Gentry and Austin made an agreement that if they made the mask, she’d actually wear it for Halloween.  And excitedly, they started in on their project.
