Hiller Aviation Museum

On Tuesdays we set out on adventures to new places around the Bay. Today we visited the Hiller Aviation Museum, and hands down, it was my favorite spot so far this summer. There was something so inspiring about seeing the different designs that have evolved over the years for air flight, and exhilarating to think of those brave and crazy people who flew in these early aircrafts.
Austin and Ronan, taking it all in.
Seth and Ronan taking a break to disappear into the cabinet. Of course, only the little people would think of this.
Below is one of the first vertical flying platforms ever made, designed in the 1950’s. Amazing.
There was a 747 that the kids could explore. Austin and Ro are checking out the first class accommodations on the second floor (think spiral staircase up) and the view out the window.
Ronan taking control of the plane. He had to ask on a few occasions if the plane would actually take off.
Giddy.
Outside with the crew, watching real planes take off and land on the runway. A super fun and uplifting morning.
