Happy Half Birthday!

Ronan is 4.5 and proud of it. We headed to the bakery yesterday to get half of a treat and celebrate the little man.
He continues to amaze me with his curiosity, creativity, thoughtfulness and depth of intellect. Here are a few of my favorite Ronan questions from the week, in his own words:
“What’s the opposite of an opposite?”
“How did the oceans form? And how did the hole get there for the water to fill the ocean?”
And out of nowhere, while we were shelling peas: “Do you know what the real question is– how was God made?”
Ronan keeps me on my toes– both in terms of the tremendous gifts of his personality and the challenges he faces. I count myself very lucky to have the privilege of raising this very unique boy.
