The Morning Ritual

When Ronan first wakes in the morning, I stumble into his room, half-awake, with a delivery of milk, stuffed animals and books. The early morning hand-off gives allows me a few extra minutes in bed, that is until I start hearing loud thumps and the characteristic “uh oh.”
Upon re-entering his room, I see the entire contents of his crib on the floor, and a little monkey jumping up and down, pointing to his pile, “uh oh. uh oh.”
And the day has begun…

That is one frazzeled little hair do! I love it. And the little monkey suit is fitting for your little monkey.

I am reading this amazing book now called: Parenting from the Inside Out and you all could be the poster family for this book (of what to do right:). I love seeing the joy on his face over the most mundane things…brings me back to childhood and wondering at what point I lost that! Thank goodness I think I’m tapping back in since my move. :) Lots of love, Shelly
